Who are Macmillan

Nearly all of us will be affected by cancer at some point in our lives, and it’s the toughest fight most of us will ever face. But the Macmillan team are there for us every step of the way. They are the nurses and therapists helping us through treatment. The advisers telling us which benefits we’re entitled to. The volunteers giving us a hand with the everyday things. The campaigners pushing for better cancer care. The fundraisers who make it all possible. None of us should face cancer alone, and with your help no one will. Be a part of the Big Mix 2013 and help us make sure Macmillan is there for everyone affected by cancer.

Who we are

You’re probably wondering who’s running the show. Well, we’re a committed bunch of volunteers from a mix of backgrounds – some of us work in the music industry, some in PR and some from Macmillan. All of us are driven by the freshest music, venues and entertainment, and – of course – raising money for people affected by cancer. This year we’re celebrating our fifth birthday as organisers of the Big Mix, and we’d love you to join us there.
